Enterprise Dashboard
Category Page - Default Message Design
In this release, we have enhanced the design of default messages for category pages, ensuring a more impactful appearance. Now, default messages for category and list pages (or recommendations) will be displayed at the top left-hand corner and the bottom left-hand corner of the images.
This improvement includes adjustments to accommodate the message's height at the top of the image without obscuring it. Additionally, we have added the product-id attribute (prod-id for Product Recommendation widgets) at the image level to display messages at the bottom of the image.

Enable the output of Social Proof message through a function
In this release, we have improved the Social Proof feature by introducing a function for Digital Optimization Managers. This function lets users access Social Proof experience output for custom rendering.
We have added a new parameter called "Output Variable Name" to Display Settings/Configurations. Clients can retrieve Social Proof variation output by calling this variable through window.RR. For example, if the variation name is "eventmetrcsatc," clients can access it using window.RR.eventmetricsatc, following JavaScript variable naming conventions.
We have also introduced several parameters for precise message control, including Display Interval, Message Level Type, Time Window, User Count/Event Count, Text Message, Threshold, and Order/Priority.
For item pages, window.RR.variable.interval contains the display interval, and window.RR.variable.data holds the Social Proof message output. For other pages, window.RR.variable provides access to the Social Proof message output.
These enhancements offer greater flexibility and customization for Social Proof messages, enhancing the feature's utility.

Data Engineering
Filter Merchandising Report by Placements
We have made significant improvements to the Merchandising Report, enhancing its functionality for merchandisers. Now, you can precisely filter and analyze recommendations and user interactions within specific placement areas over defined time periods. This upgrade allows for a more granular view of your data and provides valuable insights to optimize your merchandising strategy.
With the addition of placement dimensions, you can easily select and assess multiple placements simultaneously. Furthermore, new metrics, such as Rec Views and Rec Clicks, help you gauge the performance of products within these placements. You can now apply existing metrics to filter data by placements and conveniently view placement details alongside page types.

Enterprise Dashboard, Social Message: New Social Proof - Show preview of the message on the right side template view |
Social Proof now allows users to enter a page URL for an interactive preview of how messages will appear on item and category pages. This enables optimization managers to fine-tune display configurations and placement. To use this feature, clients need client.js and valid R3 values on their webpages. Additionally, their website should permit our portal's iframe embedding. This enhancement simplifies message placement, ensuring alignment with page content and layout. |
